Mass production of this simple yet effectively designed product will be relatively inexpensive and simple to accomplish using current production means and technology.

The circular frame of the
Trash Bag Retainer is made
of a lightweight plastic material
with a nineteen-and-one-half-
inch (19 1/2”) outer diameter,
and with an approximate two-
inch height by one and one-half
of one-inch width (2” x 1 1/2 ”)
in the material forming this
frame. About the exterior circumference of this circular
frame is an indented groove
of an approximate one-inch height by one-half-inch depth (1” x 1/2”).

For fitting within this groove,
and for support of applied trash bags, is a bungee cord made
of heavy-duty polypropylene
ending with dichromated hooks. This bungee cord measures
an approximate thirteen-thirty-
seconds-of-one-inch in width by fifty-six inches in length (13/32”
x 56”) which, when stretched
to meet the hooks upon the
groove, meets the sixty-one-
and-one-quarter-inch (61 1/4 ”) circumference of the circular frame.

Attachable to one (1) planar
side of the circular frame,
and by stiff folding joints that
are evenly positioned about
the circular frame, are three
(3) telescoping legs. These telescoping legs, made of
aluminum, extend to a
maximum of three feet (3')
in height via extension
through its two (2) locking
joints. The feet of these
telescoping legs each have
a cleated, rubber end-cap.
