Mass production of this simple yet effectively designed product will be relatively inexpensive and simple to accomplish using current production means and technology.

The base mat of the Scuff & Buff is made of non-slip polyvinyl chloride material with patterned perforations. Produced in a size of one-square-foot (12” x 12”)or
in a size of twelve inches x eighteen inches (12” x 18”),
this mat has rounded corners, and a perimeter of one-half-inch (1/2”) depth is beveled to come level upon
the surface on which it will rest.

The bottom surface of this base mat features suction cups of one-half-inch (1/2”) diameter in a pattern of placement equaling one (1) cup per square-inch
(1” x 1”).

Applied upon the top surface of the base mat by synthetic adhesive are two (2) sections of pumice stone material, each section measuring five inches in width by eleven inches in height (5” x 11”) for the 12”x12” version or eight inches in width by seventeen inches
in height (8”x17”) for the 12”x18” version. One (1) section of this pumice material features coarse texture, that is to be applied upon the left side of the base mat. The other section is of finer texture, and is placed
upon the right side. Both sections are applied upon
the base mat leaving a half-inch (1/2”) border about
its perimeter, and a one-inch (1”) separating channel between these sections. These pumice stone material sections are each decorated in separate-yet-corresponding colors. Printed above or below the coarse-texture pumice, and slightly off-center about its width is “Scuff,” “Buff” is printed slightly off-center above or below the fine-texture pumice, and the “&” symbol appears between these words and centered above or below the separating channel.
