• And for such high sales to result from a narrow consumer market, multiple product purchases must be conducted, of course. These consumers obviously have more than one hairpiece, and have need for safe storage and proper maintenance of these hairpieces.
• The D&D Ponytail Accessory can fulfill an established need of this niche consumer group by providing convenient access and storage to their
  multiple hairpieces.
• This identifiable consumer market is also of impressive purchase capabilities, as a recognizable majority of 55 percent of hairpiece purchasers have above average household incomes, exceeding $50,000 annually.
• Even better, there is a growth in younger users. Persons under 25 are purchasing ponytails, wigs and other hairpieces more frequently than those of ages 25 to 44, indicating that this product market is rejuvenating with a newfound, younger and growing consumer market.

• While wigs and hairpieces are often depicted as fashionable accessories, that is often not the case. In fact, 90 percent of those who buy hairpiece accessories do so for prosthetic reasons and not cosmetic reasons.
• Over 50 percent of the population, and prominently African-American women, suffer from the hair-loss diseases and conditions of Alopecia, Aplasia, Loose Hair Syndrome and Chronic Telogen Effluvium.
