Four Boyz Corporation is currently looking for a qualified company to manufacture and distribute the Oil and Oil Filter Retention Device under a licensing agreement.
Today, over two-thirds of all car owners (68 percent) perform much of their needed vehicle maintenance all by themselves. Of this group, 81 percent check and add their own oil, and 76 percent completely change their oil along with the filter. That amounts to over 40 million Americans that regularly change their own oil and filters.
The Oil and Oil Filter Retention Device can definitely appeal to a very large consumer group .
That's right – over 40 million Americans are automobile do-it-yourselfers and change their own oil. This number of Americans who change their own oil and filter appears to be growing, as well. Note that sales of motor oil from auto supply stores have been increasing 3.4 percent annually, while sales of oil filters from this same retail environment are growing at rate of 6.7 percent.
This doesn't include sales to or from mechanics' garages or oil-change shops, either – that's the oil and filters sold directly to the customers who do it all by themselves. And if more filters are selling through this channel, than more people are independently changing their own motor oil. In fact, about 190 million oil filters are sold in the U.S. every year directly to consumers who change their own oil and filters.
The Oil and Oil Filter Retention Device can join this high-growth product market.
