The Standing Stroller is an innovative stroller with a seat for a child to sit in, and with an open, contained area in front of the seat that the child can stand in, as well. When the youngster needs time to sit and rest or even nap, the basic stroller seat is always there. But when junior wants an ample view of the world around her, he can safely stand up and take a good look as he passes through it.

The Standing Stroller is made in similar formats to standard strollers, including a standard seating area upon a cushioned frame, complete with retractable canopy, although the frame is slightly longer to accommodate this contained standing area, and of slightly extended width to maintain consistent balance no matter which portion is occupied by the child.

The front end of the device holds a semi-circular shape of an approximate one-foot depth and is sealed by a netting wall of two-foot height. The railing of this wall is cushioned, and a harness with shoulder straps for securing the child within the area is also included. Other features of the Standing Stroller include pneumatic wheels, a contained storage area beneath the seat, and a parent tray positioned between the handles.
